The Windsor knot is symmetrical and voluminous, ideal for wide shirt collars and formal occasions. The Half Windsor offers a good compromise between elegance and simplicity. Which knot you choose depends on the collar: narrow collars can handle smaller knots, while wide collars like the cutaway collar require a Windsor.

The right tie width depends on your personal style, the occasion, and current trends. We offer two widths: 6.0–6.5 cm for a slim, contemporary look and 7.0–7.5 cm for a classic, elegant appearance. Both options are versatile and easy to combine. As a general rule, the tie width should match the widest part of your lapel. Narrow lapel – narrow tie. Wide lapel – wider tie. To be on the safe side, consider the proportions of your jacket.

The tip of the tie should touch the waistband – not extend above it and not hang far below. Our ties have a standard length of approximately 147 cm, which suits most heights. For very tall men from about 190 cm upwards, it can be a bit short depending on the knot – in this case, we recommend the Four-in-Hand knot, which uses less fabric than the Windsor, and our extra-long ties with a length of 170 cm. Tip: The narrow end of the tie should never extend beyond the wide end.
